Forged of War, 01The sky was a blueish-gray in color as mid-day approached.  It’d been a long week, stabilizing wounded soldiers from the war and trying to help the families of those lost in the fight for their country. The Thranian army was brutalizing all who opposed them and the casualties had increased immensely since the year before. It was a wonder there were still those willing to face such a force, but the admiration of those who did was great among many.

A Pair to Change the Rules,99Harry jumped awake as the door shut, the paper he had been reading sliding to the floor. He stood from the couch, scooped up the prophet and went to see what Miz was doing. As he emerged he spotted her going down to the kitchen and followed.  
 
The light from the fridge shined bright in the dim kitchen. Harry set the paper on the table and sat down just as the light went out. Mizti strolled out and, upon seeing him, gasped in shock nearly dropping the glass she held.   
“Harry!” she sat across from him and grinned. “I’d forgotten all about you staying!” she laughed.

Making a List

  • Eating: Nothing... yet.
  • Drinking: Iced Tea!
I've come to the conclusion that unless I make myself a list of what I need to do, I either forget at least one thing or just don't bother. :p ^^; So, in order to prevent such a thing from occurring within the next few days/couple of weeks, I am making myself a list of what I need to do with my writing. I will give you a brief peek at what I am doing:

:bulletgreen:Starting Sequel to APCR
:bulletorange:Dark Blood
:bulletpink:Escaping Through Shadows
:bulletpurple:Forged of War (new story based around my Sunday D&D game)

:bulletyellow:Random Short stories


And that is about a quarter of what I have for myself! Granted I go into more detail on certain things for myself. But that is an idea of what I will be trying to get myself going on within the next couple of weeks or so. My Muse is rather annoyed with me for putting all of my imagination behind my D&D character and now my WoW character so I will be doing some writing. May even get some done for today.

On another note, things at home are... well they are special, haha. I am currently at the boy's house and have been since Friday night. I am leaving to stay with my mother this coming Friday morning and will be back here at the boy's Saturday night (maybe) so I can be around for the D&D game on Sunday! Just trying to avoid my mother's as much as I can until I can fully move out. The only thing I hate about it is not seeing my babies (kitties) but I will see them soon enough.

Well... if I am to ever get any of that list done I better get to it, eh? Later all! :typerhappy:

You should do a Harry Potter fan fic with the Members of the NEHC being foreign exchange students from America at Hogwarts! That would be amazingly funny and stupid!

That would be... amazing. I might whip up a one-shot about it. Get me off my norm and give me something to work my creative juices through. I'll probs add myself in there too as a... companion(?) to the NEHC since it is a no girls org. But yeah.
